Manchester By The Sea

Saturday, July 24Th I will be showing my work at Manchester By The Sea Arts Festival. After spending last weekend in hip Portland Maine and then a few days in Harwichport MA. destiny was calling to create more ocean themed paintings. This is one of them. This piece is 11x14 done on cotton and linen. The sides have been painted so no frame is needed. For sale in my Etsy shop.

Miss Coral 's Garden

Here is my second whimsical pattern painting. Coral doesn't represent anyone I know personally, but I imagine that if you found someone sitting in a chair under the sea, this is probably what she would look like~ This piece is 11x14 done with acrylics on stretched cotton. The sides have been painted so it can be hung with out a frame. For sale in my Etsy shop.

Villa Parmina

" Those Who Bring Sunshine To The Lives Of Others
Cannot Keep It From Themselves." JM b

I read that quote a few days ago and then decided to do a painting based on it. The photo isn't just right once again. I need to spend a little more time working out the problems I am having with my camera even though I don't feel like it. Villa Parmina in Sicily is also partly responsible for a lot of the colors and patterns in this piece. The view in my painting is similar to the one from the villa. I guess my trip is beginning to seep in to my painting........finally.
