Summer Art Show

So I've been working on three paintings at once.    Considering  I'm the type of person who can only eat one thing on my plate at a time this is uncharted  territory for me!  However,  Saturday I am showing my work at Manchester By The Sea  and feeling a bit overwhelmed which is causing me to jump from one thing to another.  Maybe that's a good thing?    This will be my second year participating in this exhibit.  The town is absolutely beautiful.  If you are in the North Shore area of Massachusetts stop by.  The show is Saturday, July 23rd from 9 am to 6 pm.  Rain date Sunday.

Cool, Clear and Dry~ Bring it on!

The rain, wind and cloudy skies are leaving. I am looking forward to a glorious autumn weekend in Pound Ridge, New York at the "Pound Ridge Fine Arts and Crafts Show." I don't think I could take another day of the humidity considering my hot flashes are every 20 minutes. Two of my newest paintings will not be making the trip since they have found new homes in both North Carolina and Texas.

If you happen to live in the area (Westchester County) hope you will stop by and say hello.

Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit

I am busy trying to wrap up two new paintings before I head off to Greenwich Village for the Washington Square Art Exhibit in it's 80th year! This will be my first time exhibiting at this event and I am very excited. Tomorrow I will post my two new paintings. That will be my last entry until after the show.

August Giveaway

I meant to post this last night. I have decided to stick with another framed fine art print for August. This reproduction is from my original painting, "Sweet William," which I believe has found a nice home in Texas. Speaking of Sweet William, I noticed mine coming back again in my overgrown but good intentioned garden. Looks more like Grey Gardens if you know what I mean! I have become a huge fan of Chinoiserie items over the past few years and love to incorporate them into my work.

All you have to do to be entered into my Giveaway is to leave a comment here about your favorite flower. That's it. I will pick the winner on Saturday August 28th.

I am getting ready for an art show in Ogunquit ME for anyone who is in the area on Thursday August 26th. Please stop by and say hello!

long Island

I am busy now getting ready for my first show on Long Island next weekend. The show is sponsored by Gallery North in Setauket NY. I pray the weather continues to be great. I will be posting one more new painting before I go. Stay tuned.
