Cool, Clear and Dry~ Bring it on!

The rain, wind and cloudy skies are leaving. I am looking forward to a glorious autumn weekend in Pound Ridge, New York at the "Pound Ridge Fine Arts and Crafts Show." I don't think I could take another day of the humidity considering my hot flashes are every 20 minutes. Two of my newest paintings will not be making the trip since they have found new homes in both North Carolina and Texas.

August Giveaway

I meant to post this last night. I have decided to stick with another framed fine art print for August. This reproduction is from my original painting, "Sweet William," which I believe has found a nice home in Texas. Speaking of Sweet William, I noticed mine coming back again in my overgrown but good intentioned garden. Looks more like Grey Gardens if you know what I mean! I have become a huge fan of Chinoiserie items over the past few years and love to incorporate them into my work.

Sweet William

Dianthus Barbatus that is. This lovely flower dates date to the 16th century. I am looking forward to seeing them in my garden. This small painting is 8x10 done on gallery wrapped stretched cotton. For sale in my Etsy shop.
