Two gorgeous places for inspiration.

I am about to post two new paintings hopefully today.  I also wanted to mention that my work has recently been featured on two really wonderful blogs.  "The Essence Of The Good Life"

"Electic Revisited".  http://eclecticrevisited.wordpress.com/2011/02/06/matisse-inspired-paintings-by-catherine-nolin/
These sites will be sources of endless inspiration for me!

Thank you Lene and Maureen.

Don't you draw the Queen of Diamonds, boy, she'll beat you if she's able. You know, the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet. - The Eagles, Desperado

BTW If anyone is wondering, I am busy working on a commission and will be posting some new work very soon that I am really excited about.

When Sam smiles, all is right in my world.

Oct. 17th- is the date of my Giveaway drawing. You can comment here and on my fan page, "Catherine Nolin Art Studio" on Facebook to enter if you haven't yet. I have begun working on a group of new paintings. Tomorrow I will be posting one of them. I will try to add a new one or two every week in my Etsy shop, in between commission pieces. I want to have a good selection of reproductions and originals for the holiday season this year.

I am looking forward to Monday, tomorrow. We had a good weekend with Sam. He was happy full of smiles and eye contact. When Sam is good it's like getting the "okay" to paint.

October Giveaway Time!

With my outdoor art show schedule coming to an end, I can get back to more painting and posting and monthly giveaways. I am posting my Giveaways on Facebook so there's a bit more competition now. This month I am giving away a signed archival reproduction, matted and framed of this original painting, "Dreaming Of Italy". Simply leave a comment and you will be entered to win. Drawing is Oct. 17th. Be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you should win! Thanks for all your lovely comments and support, Catherine
