The Queen's Room

A few years back I painted the "Queen Of Hearts."  I decided to take it a step further and paint a room for her. This new painting is 11x14 painted on stretched canvas for sale in my Etsy shop.

Don't ask me why I am using this title. I do love Death Cab for Cutie.  This song was playing at one point when I was painting.  I guess that explains it!  Not ready for more snow tomorrow.   I feel badly for seniors especially.  My mom can't really get out in  this weather.  Good thing she has six daughters and one son to  keep her busy with phone calls and visits. This painting is 8x10 painted on stretched canvas.  For sale in my Etsy Shop.

Eve Enchanted

 As I worked  in my studio yesterday, painting (with my slippers on) to the sound of snow blowers and shovels scrapping I realized how  fortunate I am to work at home.  There's no bad weather to keep me from getting to my job.  The gray days though,  have made me think more about Gauguin and Matisse's work full of warm and bright colors.  This new painting is 11x14 for sale on etsy.

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

This is my first new painting of 2011.  I have another right behind this one but will post it tomorrow hopefully.  It feels great to get back to work.  Many new pieces coming.
