Crown and Anchor Me~New Painitng

This is my newest painting.  I borrowed the title from a Joni Mitchell song and I think it's perfect.  Although this is small piece, 8x10, it definitely packs a big punch.  This was one of those paintings that just took off from the first brush stroke.  It was effortless and very therapeutic for me at a time that I am feeling very anxious and down.  Thanks for looking.

Sailing Away

Well, this will probably be my last new painting until mid July. My son Sam will be home from his residential school for the next 10 days and it's all hands on deck. This new painting is appropriately titled. I love how it came together with all the details. It is 9x12 done on stretched cotton and linen. I will be announcing my July Giveaway either this afternoon or tomorrow. Please check back. The Details In The Fabric

This painting took me a bit longer than I thought. Probably one of my best pieces by far. I spent more time than usual planning it out and feel that I have become a better painter in doing so.
16x20 on stretched linen and cotton.
