Summer Plans~New original painting

What are your summer plans ?  This is my newest painting.  I never considered myself a "blue" person until now.  I love these color relationships.

In the studio ~ What I am working on..............

   I am so excited to have  found a wonderful new art store pretty close to my house.  I  decided to purchase some birch wood boards/panels  to paint on rather than canvas.  The surface is so smooth and it accepts the paint so beautifully. The colors seem to be more vivid and rich as well!   This is the perfect surface for me to work on.  This painting  I  is 16x20 with deep sides.  The light house in the distance is on Martha's Vineyard.  Thanks for looking.
