Today is my youngest son Samuel's 18th birthday. It's hard to believe. For those of you who don't know about Sam he was diagnosed with autism and a few other medical conditions when he was two. It's difficult to put into words how I feel today. Life has been a bittersweet emotional roller coater so far. Sam has touched so many lives without ever knowing. His very exsistance has brought couple's together, made us experts on alternative medicine and diet, taught compassion, acceptance and to never take anything for granted.
I painted this Tree of Life because Sam has so much life to live and things to learn. I will think positively about him during this new year, full of growing and healing. This new painting is 20x16 painted on stretched canvas. Available for sale in my Etsy shop
