What I'm working on

Working on a 12x16 interior scene .  Most likely will complete by Monday.  What's this woman's story?  I violinist taking a break in her home on the Cape?  

Flights Of Fancy~ New painting

Completed on 4-6-2018  My newest still life painting.  I never knew all the symbolism behind the Magpie in different cultures but have always loved them.   They  represent hope, good fortune , protection to name a few.  They are also one of the  most intelligent birds.

My painting is 16x12 created on a cradled wood panel with painted sides so no frame is needed.

What I'm working on

It's been a challenging few months to say the least.  I'm finally getting back into the studio more consistently.  My mother had a stroke at the end of January and it's been all hands on deck.  She is more stable now and doing well after three moves and a lot of support.  I am grateful to be one of  her 7 children  sharing in her care.  This week is my first real work week.  I started a few pieces late in January which I am slowly picking back up.  Happy to be doing what I love again !  This piece is 16x12  You may recognize this composition from a favorite artist of mine!

Dinner At Eight ~New work

My latest original painting.  I enjoy looking through old vintage bird prints and came across this  lovely creature!  I wish the photo captured more of the fine detail. 12x16 on a flat wood panel.  (Framing required ) I am continuing in a series of smaller animal, bird fanciful pieces!
