Interior In Blue ~ New Painting

Completed on 7-21-2018  "Interior In Blue"  is 14x18 oils on  a cradled wood panel with painted sides.  I dream and think about color all the time.  I've happily woven together some favorite colors and things from the corners of my mind.

On my easel

I've begun working on a 14x18 wood panel in oils.  I have really embraced oils over the past 3 or 4 months.  It forces me to pace myself and also work on several pieces at one time since layers have to dry.  

Portrait Of Joan - new work

SOLD   Completed on 7-11-2018  I wanted to create an icon like painting this time.  Honestly when I started out I didn't know who she would be but had a certain look I wanted.  I came across images of Joan Of Arc and knowing a little about her story I thought she would be perfect especially at this time. This pieces can mean many things.  

Painting is a way of consoling my heart and I am so grateful to have this time.
