Something New

Just off the easel. I have been walking a lot lately and really noticing the beautiful landscapes all around me. The flowers even now are still so vivid and rich against the fall foliage. I am very happy with this new piece. 8x10/ $250

Searching In Storms

I love this piece. It is 16x20. It is somewhat mysterious and peaceful. Storms, stormy weather, always searching is how I feel about living with a son with autism. So much uncertainty. This painting is for sale. Framed for $1100.

Lover Of The Long Shot

My father told me I never made him a painting. I guess I didn't think he cared to have one. He passed away a few years ago at this time. I finally made him a painting. I borrowed the title from my brother.

Autumn Royals

I have chosen this painting to begin my journey. I love the contrasts in color here. So many changes have taken place in my life recently. Fall is a new beginning for me. Both my oldest son and my youngest son have left our home. What a strange mix of emotions. My oldest son, off to Burlington Vermont, hopefully to do well in school and my youngest son, transitioned into a residential school for autism. Life is so bitter sweet. I miss them both so much. Now it is time to paint.
