Songbird Returns- new painting-SOLD

I am always inspired by the brilliant still life's of the great artists of the past. In particular the classical, dramatic  back drops and settings.  This painting pays tribute with a twist.  I enjoy recreating objects from these works and bringing them into my world.  I also learn a few things along the way.  This painting is 8x10 created on a wood cradled panel with painted sides. I imagine this would make a beautiful holiday gift not mention wedding.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.
