Claire's Leaving Home

This is the last painting I will be posting before my show in Boston this Sunday.    I am forever inspired by so many Beatle songs.   “She’s Leaving Home,” (one of my favorites) is what helped me come up with the idea for this woman whom I have named Claire. Claire’s leaving home after living alone for so many years.  I decided to paint her in an early Picasso type style which I like very much.  This painting is 16x20 painted on canvas.

    Oh! Catherine, I wish I could get to Boston for your show, I have quests and we are doing a party for Thor this week end.. He sends you a good luck wish and so do I.
    I thought it looked like Modigliani too.
